The Favola
A couple of weeks ago I got ridiculously excited about a new sample arriving. The Favola is a hand-made book, crafted in Italy, the pages are hand-made Amalfi paper and are exquisitely textured. The printing uses the latest technology and it has taken the producer of this book many years to perfect a printing process that works on such a textured uneven surface. The book sits inside a soft to the touch delicately scented leather slip case made from the finest Etrusco leather.
I cannot sing the praises of this book highly enough so I captured my joy at opening it for the first time. Please excuse the shaky camerawork!
