Fine Art Portraits

15/01/2021

During this third lockdown (and accompanying dreadful weather!) I’ve taken the opportunity to explore my editing processes more. I took part in a five day Equine portrait challenge and this has resulted in creating these Fine Art Portraits. What is wonderful about this new work is that I can create these beautiful portraits from shoots I have already done, enabling me to offer them to all my previous clients.

New Year – New Ideas

Each New Year I try to think of ways to improve the service I can give to my clients, being innovative and forward thinking is part of who I am and how I run my business. Now more than ever, whilst the world is in the grip of a global pandemic and the UK adapting to life outside of the EU, as a small business owner I need to be ahead of the curve. I’m obviously not able to photograph clients at the moment, however I can offer them services remotely and these fine art portraits are just about perfect.

The Personal Touch

I love offering clients a personalised product, something that is unique to them, suits their personality and that of their horse or dog. These fine art portraits do exactly this, each one is tailored to the client, the setting we shot in and the relationship between them. It’s been so much fun to revisit shoots, some from years ago! It’s certainly made the short wet days fly by. You can see more of these portraits on my Instagram page and I have a special gallery on Facebook where I have posted a lot of them as well.

Who are the fine art portraits suitable for?

Anybody who has had a shoot with me could have a fine art portrait created, as soon as I can shoot again I will be taking bookings for specific fine art portrait sessions, and I’m excited to offer it to new clients as well as previous.

Currently these fine art portraits are available as high resolution digital files, but I can also produce them as an extension to existing products, they would look amazing as a large framed print or a canvas and I do have an exciting new product coming out in the next few weeks, I’ll post more info on my Facebook page so keep an eye on that.

Stay safe

I hope you are all keeping safe and well and are coping with lockdown. It’s a tough time for us all and I hope my images are able to bring a smile to your face. Appreciating the beauty that is all around us is, for me, as a photographer, a daily ritual, but I do hope that seeing the photos of my clients and their amazing animals can spread a little sunshine out into the world.
